So back at the
start of the 2010's, these Hong Kong based bootleggers tried to pass off
their products (usually made with Shrinky-Dinks and glue) as
"official" Sailor Moon products. After Moon Sisters originally
posted some of their bootlegs, they tried to change up their website by
saying these were "customs" while sending defensive emails to yours
truly, Codename Sailor Earth. Here and Here they list how they make their goods. As of 2019, their
website is long gone, and their Facebook business
page is dormant
with a few straggling pieces for Sailor Moon and for Pokemon still lingering
on Pinterest and eBay.
