Cheap Sailor
Moon Cosplay Hacks If you can look
up a basic sewing tutorial on how to stich or hot glue together an occasional
sailor collar or ribbon or other accent, you can easily throw together the
following looks on the cheap, using cheap and recycled clothing and
inexpensive squares of fabric and crafting supplies. The only thing
that might be on the pricey side will be the wigs if you're going for a
certain length. Hotaru, Haruka, Mamoru, Umino, Minako, Rei and Ami will
usually be the cheapest wigs to find, as similar cuts are always available at
big box retailers, dollar stores and malls. Jupiter, Lethe, Mnemosyne, Naru
and other mid-to-long haired characters not named Rei or Minako can be
hit-or-miss depending on where you live and Usagi, Chibiusa, Kousagi, Chibi
Chibi, Queen Serenity and Sailor Cosmos wigs are usually going to be online
only unless Spirit Halloween stocks one online or in-store. But if you're
going for affordable cosplay, even these wigs shouldn't set you back by too
much. Some of these
cosplays can double as everyday wear and some might be better choices if you
are modest or living in a climate that's too cold for a Sailor Mars costume.
They work with any body type too. |
